I agree. Other people's Shark Card transactions allowed me to play a game with many free updates over the year, and alot of fun. It's my go to in-between game. Extravagant billionaire simulator.

After trying to play Cyberpunk 2077 (the game keeps crashing making it unplayable) I now know how good GTA 5 is in comparison. We all took Rockstar games for granted.

Who cares anymore... Never played MP, never will. Where is GTA 6 for core players? I bought GTA V for PS4 4-5 years ago, and since then I didn't spend 1 single dollar on that franchise... You think that's cool?

You DO realize that GTA online is making more money than God, right? Besides, this new update has Solo heists for the first time ever! Alot of the missions are soloable, and you can create a solo lobby if you wish. Lot's of GTA fun to be had.

@ScuricArt I understand not liking it but 1. Its impossible for two modes in a game to be drastically different graphics wise and 2. Games are designed for you to sink time and money into. If you don't like being killed go into a private session. If you have jobs and families and less time to play then why are you playing games in the first place. You can ration out time in online same way you can story mode and there isn't an excuse because it came out 7 years ago. Although I respect your opinion.

​@Cross KriegI like to play immersive stories, that is what attracted me to play GTA in the first place. I tried MP a few times, but some players killed me a bunch of times before I even start, missions I tried were mixed (the first one, arcade style like racing), and the graphics are bad comparing to offline... Simply MP is not designed for everyone, most people with 30 or more have another thing to do, like jobs, families, and less time to play it. And it is designed to attract you to play more and invest more and more time and money there. Also, it is not just me, all of my friends in their 30-s also bought GTA 5 and never played MP. I am cool with that for people who like it, but they should also please other customers who wait now for 6-7 years to see the next chapter. Plus, the reality is if they announce GTA6 now we will have to wait additional 2-3 years to play it.

Wdym core players? I got it in 2014 and I love Online. How about you give it a try first.

Rockstar is slowly evolving GTA Online into GTA Online 2.

@DeAn H It won’t be Gta Online 2. That would be the one they make with Gta 6 and I hope it’s an evolution of all they’ve learned from their free roam online. People like to harp on GTAO mainly cause the prices on things, which are too much but there’s great aspects it should get more love for. The amount of opportunities, big quality chunks of coop content with narrative elements which I can’t really think of any other games doing like it does. From RDO they’ve evolved it with choices players can make in the missions too. Growing your character and hub area and owning property. I hope they lean even more into having RPG elements to make your character feel unique.

NO, they are releasing GTA Online 2 as a standalone in 2021, they've already said that, the current GTA Online will remain for last gen PS4 and Xbox one, but the expanded and enhanced version will be for current gen XSX and PS5
